It was the previous year that Holden released the sensational Radial Tuned Suspension, and the TD Gemini benefitted from the new anti-dive geometry and anti-roll bar setup. Unfortunately though, Peter Hanenberger's RTS was better suited to the larger HX Kingswood sedan, many commentators of the day commented on the cars harsh ride.
