In just over 21/2 years Chrysler Corporation had spent $22,777,754.00 in expansion of plants and properties. So rapid was Chrysler growth that a $100 investment in original Maxwell stock on January 2, 1923, would have grown to a worth of $1,756.08 in Chrysler stock at the market closing time, June 15, 1928. Chryslers finished third and fourth at the 1928 Le Mans race.
