We use an Isuzu 24 tonner fitted with a “Roadranger” gearbox - well worth the extra cost to us for the ease of driving it offers in obtaining an unconditional Heavy Rigid Licence
The Club was formed in 1982 and although originally established with the Australian assembled Ford Capri Mark 1 in mind, the Club caters for all Ford cars with the Capri name. This includes the British Mark 1s, 2s and 3s, the Australian designed and built Ford Capri Convertible, based on the Australian Ford Laser/Mazda 323 of the late 1980s/early 1990s and, the original Classic Capri of the early 1960s!
